I can’t think of a more sleaze-ball profession out there. And don’t try to tell me a ticket "broker" is any more respectable - it’s the same shit. Dirtbags.

So as of this morning you can listen to the new O.A.R. album All Sides over at VH1’s The Leak. On the whole I like the album initially much more than the last. Overall it’s a lot more mellow, but not as production heavy as Stories of a Stranger.
This Town Yeah, […]
And the first setlist of the tour is in. Looks pretty solid. Awesome to see Oceans back in the rotation.
West Palm Beach, FL - Cruzan Amphitheatre
Set 1 Oceans, Severed Hand, Save You, Gods’ Dice, Given To Fly, Faithfull, Unemployable, Sad, Dissident, Who You Are, Even Flow, Low Light, Gone, Grievance, Glorified […]
A few weeks ago Beth and I took a drive out the coast and in an effort to save some gas we took her car. That meant no Sirius Radio or iPods so she dug around and pulled out some old mix CDs she had made in college. We listened for awhile and then a […]
This morning I bought us some tickets for O.A.R.’s July 14th show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. Red Rocks has always been on my “I need to see a show at this venue” list so we figured O.A.R. playing there is as good an idea of any. There’s a bunch of my friends heading […]
Well, the official lineup for Lollapalooza came out today and I have to admit that I’m pretty disappointed. With the exception of Pearl Jam I don’t know if there are any bands on this list that I would go out of my way for. I may end up selling my 3-day pass and picking up […]
Last night Beth and I went up to Milwaukee for the O.A.R. show. It’s been over a year since I’ve seen an O.A.R. show which is really, really surprising considering I’ve got to be in the neighborhood of having seen 40 shows so far. It’s always an interesting show in Milwaukee and things haven’t changed […]
Wow, what a crazy weekend. It started off a little slow on Friday with another marathon of episodes of The Office (only 1 more disc to go until we’re caught up!), but turned into a hectic few days. Saturday night we went to the Will Hoge show at The Double Door in Chicago. Usually we […]
Yesterday I took a glorious vacation day off and me and Beth went downtown for the day. We started off with a boat tour of the Chicago river through the Chicago Architecture Foundation so they told us all about the buildings downtown. Turns out there’s about 3 or 4 firms who are responsible for designing […]
The Australian rockers Jet will be releasing their sophomore album October 3rd and it’s certainly no slump. The success of Get Born in 2003 wasn’t a fluke and 2006’s Shine On proves that by being a gritty rock n’ roll album. There aren’t many bands on the radio these days that still have roots in […]
